As requested, here is a picture of my mane half brushed out. You can see the top and right side that has had brushing is blended better and poofs out more. I spent about 2 hours getting it to how it is now. Brushing it out gets rid of the tangles, but for the time and effort to do that, I rarely re-brush it out at cons.

Now I need to ponder what to do in terms of electronics for revision two of my lion fursuit head.
