Every day I'm just a little bit thankful we're not still planning a wedding.
It's gone by so quickly, but our first year living together (we'd been dating for 4and a half years) has been amazing! Walks on the beach, learning to be better cooks (we almost never go out to eat). We couldn't have asked for better :>

We actually got married recently as well and it was super untraditional. Wore a hippie skirt and he just wore an overshirt. Was super chill and all that.
Can't wait to get to the first year mark but i could go on and on. I'm tired and rambling now ><''

We thought about eloping but his family would never have allowed it! Even then ours wasn't super traditional, we had postcard invitations and a very small reception (80 or so people) that was more of a late lunch/tea and coffee affair.
