These two characters are from the story/novel I'm writing, a couple, two spirit, enjoying each other's company, having a tranquil moment during war time, forgetting the horror that surrounds the war and being together in a tranquil spot near the border of the desert and forest lands.

The mouse is a warrior, short-tempered, but strong. She has a soft spot for her wife though, and is the one who balances her out. The opossum is very shy, and actually does not talk; she is mute. The mouse had rescued her from two captors who nearly got away with her.

I usually don't post art I've gotten of other characters that are not my fursona, but Betsy did so well with this one that I couldn't help but share it.
