"Kaid, narrowly escaping enemies with a vital assassin mission complete, has crash-landed his vehicle somewhere in a desert. He has considered self-exile and he began to recount the recent events. He was commissioned to dispose of the leader of a growing faction believed to conduct subversive activities against unpopular Government policies. Upon locating the suspected foe, Kaid unleashes a hail of bullets. As the shots pierced and blood spattered, he quickly recognizes that the victim was once his friend by the name of Theore. He was a fellow student while at Military Academy several years back. For motives unknown, Theore suddenly left the school and nothing was heard from him. Meanwhile Kaid completed training and was assigned to a special forces unit. For some time, the young men parted ways, but crossed paths again in one final deadly encounter."
