LAME TITLE IS LAME BUT SEEMED TO FIT THE SONG.
Sreaming or sleeping seems to be the whole thing with this song for me and it seems I only work on it during springy weather, soooooooo yeah. We'll see title may likely change.
Also I AM FULL OF FAIL Note how I continue to forget chords mid song.
This is why I need to practice piano more.
Aaaalso WIPed because I will be attempting to get a friend in CA to record a cello track for it, which will be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
Bass guitar
Rhodes Piano

Oh, also, what ere your tips on refinement. I like to make a habit of giving people my opinions of production, since it's something I quite enjoy doing. I never get many people's specific opinions of possible improvement on production. anything specific you had in mind or just the playing?
yeah, partly why I avoid making critique in general, usually gets taken badly (my experience usually) or is entirely useless anyway O_o
and I've been meaning to do so, I'm easily distracted by my own collection of music, and end up forgetting to search for some Sigur Ros stuff
Gotta love having undedicated A.D.D.

As much as I love them...I almost recommend downloading them. I HATE the big 4 record companies and don't buy anything they release, I'll download it and personally hand some one in the band my 15 dollars if the opportunity arises.
The interesting thing is, Sigur ros have some of the most BEAUTIFUL album packages EVER. So loss of dignity might be worth the art.

We share similar perspectives on "Sharing" :D
I download first most of the time, if its great music, I buy up all the albums I can, directly from the artists if at all possible via web sites or somesuch rather than the retailers, retailers have already paid the artists, they are just trying to make profit of the popularity, thus I try to find an officail website or other means of ordering direct from the artist or the record co. they are signed under/slaves of.
I intend to purchase rather than do the P2P thing in this case though :D

See If you buy new though, it shows a demand by the public, which will prompt the store to restock. So the more you buy new, the more the company may buy it.
I buy USED if it's a major label. Then ONLY the store profit, and I get what I want....the packaging. Though even artists selling their own CDs still have contracts if they're big label, the label actually OWNS the songs, and most of the money.
Ath the present %13 A platinum album will make the artist...1,950,000 at a price of 15 per CD. The label makes 13,050,000. Now the artist has to split their profit with the manger, collaborating artists, session musicians, etc. The label probably only owes to the producer, and distribution, which is probably theirs anyway. One might think that the label still has to split it's money amongst all it's employees and corporate actions...and that's true. They're trying to knock artist roylaties down to 9%, and the artist end stops there, the label still has countless other artists. Pulling in potentially billions and billions of dollars, with little benefit to the artist. A confident artist can pay for their own album production and if they make a deal with distribution they can see profit at small numbers of sales by comparison, and STILL make most of their money touring.
And like I said, the amount purchased by companies depends on new album sales. If they sit on new records for MONTHS and then years they're unlikely to restock any time soon unless the label urges them too or something.

I did download thigns like flogging molly and sigur ros and now I'm buying their albums up...I have all of Flogging Molly except the new one and the old live album. I only have Two sigur albums, I need 3 more....
I can also link you to a great torrent for the sigur ros tour DVD. The video is BRILLIANT and inspirational.

Wow, thats a TON of new info for me... note to self, fuck ever trying to get signed.
I'd be interested in the torrent but my connection speed is such a slow crawl (low end DSL) that torrenting anything would take a ridiculously long time. thus I have not torrented any new shows lately, which was a little habit of mine while I had satellite service but no DVR, now i have neither :C I miss Boston legal, Comedy Central, Sci Fi, and House BAAAAAWWW
And yes, I'm aware of the few places to see the new episodes as they air but DL quality is unacceptable and S L O W lol

Thanks a whole bunch.
I'm trying to make an effort to create acoustic/live played ambient music. I think it's the next place that genre has to go, that isn't getting done often enough.
One day I'll own me a marimba, among other many instruments aaaaand pipe dream less...but yeah, as the weather improves I'll likely be more inspired.
ALSO yeah I love that chord progression. Chords I'd never used before. It's just the way I was playing my bass, and later I reverse engineered the chords and they're sus's aug's minors and stuff, it's pretty cool.

Well, that was unexpected. It always surprises me when I hear real instruments on FurAffinity, for some reason.
That said, this is gorgeous! Rhodes is one of my favourite sounds ever, and that acoustic bass is very lovely. :D
I'm not so sure about the problems people were mentioning, but I'm a lot less critical than most. This was lovely from start to finish, in my opinion.
Good work. :]

Yeah, my passion is for live instruments. I'd actually like to be a lutheir but I'm no where near a point in my life to even think of that. Apparently my cello playing friend likes this so I just might end up getting something, we'll see. Depends on whether or not she can record.
