Beauty, as with so many things, is in the eye of the beholder. (Speaking of which, I find that he's got very pretty eyes, all things considered.)

A little confidence in one's looks never hurt either.
Kind of reminds me of what John Waters said regarding movie stars. It's not the Sandra Bullocks. It's the people whose looks you can never forget that are truly beautiful.

John Waters has long been one of my heroes, and I'm inclined to agree with his point... beauty is a subjective concept, for which there's no set standard. You may not find Edith Massey beautiful in the traditional sense, say, but you'll never forget her.
