Siiigh. So freaken obsessed with this movie, it's rather pathetic.

But yes! I guess an explanation of sorts is in order. Not much of a story behind this one, pretty much I figured it took a few days to get the peach across the sea, and I figured after the whole pirate ordeal...Hops probably stayed up at night to keep Centipede company and to keep him awake (and took over the shift when the pest couldn't keep his peepers open anymore).

Well, my idea was pretty much a scene where the two start to talk intimately--your mileage may vary on the term there-- and they start to understand each other better. It's obvious in the movie that Grasshopper's perception on Centipede changes from his daring (if remarkably stupid) heroics, but...What about Centipede? What if he had learned a thing or two that allowed him to see the old green grasshopper in a different light, as well?
