Not a race, This a bestiary write up for nimbats, I admit the I heart the fidget. Might change this later a bit, after I see how they work out. But I think they would make awesome familiars for good wizards and maguses.

Looking back I need to reduce the speed to 20 base and fly 50. But outsiders fight pretty high over their CR. I has the same base hd as an imp of quasit which are both CR 2 at 3 hd. I lacks their melee attacks which are in the +7 to +8 range. Its spell likes are comparable to aforementioned critters as well.
For the imp
Constant—detect good, detect magic
At will—invisibility (self only)
1/day—augury, suggestion (DC 15)
1/week—commune (6 questions, CL 12th)
and the quasit
At will—detect good, detect
magic, invisibility (self only)
1/day—cause fear (30-foot
radius, DC 11)
1/week—commune (six
questions)
They both have a Caster level of 6 where the nimbat is a 3. Also though the nimbat has a higher HP total due to a good constitution score and a slightly better AC. the others two have fast heal. And the imp has poison. Their strength and weakness are different but about the same over all.
But look at the other examples I have dropped their Charisma down to a 19 reducing their save DC a bit and dropped their Dexterity to a 17 reducing their attack and AC by one point. This should line them up a bit better.
