About the species:
Known as Nightstalkers due to their nocturnal behavior. Their large eyes and ears help them to see and hear better in the dark in order to hunt their prey. Their diet consists of small birds, mammals and reptiles, as well as insects and they have been known to scavenge on occasion. They range in size from squirrel sized up to the size of a medium house cat, with the males typically being the smaller of the species. They are skittish and solitary by nature, but also curious and a bit mischievious. It takes a lot of time and patience to gain their trust but once they befriend a humanoid or choose a mate it is for life. They have litters of 2-3 at a time and the female will carry them on her back, covered with her tail throughout their first year.
