Cute story.
We were on our way over to the Westin on the 3rd when we get stopped by a lady handing out flyers. "Oh! Omg! Could you stop and see the kids? We have kids inside and they would love to see you guys!" and who am I to say no to kids?! "Yeah! Let's do it!"
Also, very funny, they introduced us as such.. "Look kids! Furries!" and the kids lit up and were so excited to see us. It hit me big time. Right in the thumpthump.. I almost cried. they swarmed us and we just had a ball. they'd bring their toys up to show us and ask silly questions.. *sigh* I just love kids.
Turns out this was a Catholic charity for helping kids through the summer. Giving them a free lunch and letting them play games. Super sweet if you ask me.

I love how kids will either be terrified of a furry, or they will run up and hug you. I've had both and it makes you feel sad if they cry, but the parents understand you aren't trying to frighten them. I don't like the moms who try to force their scared kids to stand next to you for a picture.
