I honestly was hoping for an ending where all the main characters died. Or at least Ralleigh. (Sp?) sure, there was a price to pay for the victory, what with loosing all the other Jaeger pilots, but that still felt like it wasn't enough, especially since there was little or no development in the other pilots and there was really no investment in them.
