Love the way she does this, how she folds her ears back when being petted on the head. So dog-like and definitely a surefire way to intensify her already high levels of cuteness! Lucky for me, I get to see her on a regular basis :P

That would be known as the critical period, the prime period in which to bond or imprint on the fox's mind, and the best time to have it acclimate being around humans, but not too much at once mind you. If you imprint the best you can, you will more likely than not get a successfully socialized and affectionate fox
