I happen to love the Left Banke, and I just thought that I'd respond to that comment.

If I were to ever design and construct a master bedroom, it'd probably be designed like that. Very quaint and open, but peaceful and well lit. ^_^

LOL well make alot of refences to mental clinics and hospitals with mental patiances. This is day room out of a hospital facility apart of a mental hospital.

I'm not familiar with the history of any shut-down mental clinics/hospitals.

The concept is simple large room with alot of windows give the illusion of being outside

Well mostly this is a trade down thing. You go with a friend he shows you how to get in and usally its passed on like that. The place is fairly close yes about a 2 hour drive at worse

Do you explore these places by yourself? aren't thereat any other people around? there should be loads of unstable floors around those kinds of places! Are these places forbidden or simply abandoned? *curious*

These abandoned photos are very nice and are excellent for reference for backgrounds. This is just like a steam punk site that took photos of abandoned factories and machines. You now the site I'm talking about? surely you could post some of your stuff there too.

Usally its a small group deal. One to be less visable. But at least two people go for safety reasons. Heh well after a while of going you learn alot about floor signs of failure and fatigue. Usally these places are abandoned minus one grounds keeper. Who by most statements is either stoned or insane for living on property. Then there are those places which are randomly patroled. But usally lack the worry of inside patrols. Eh for the most part its just boarded up. Rarely unless an active campus is there no trespassing signs.
