Jeeze..... I haven't seen the word "placoderm" for..... probably a couple decades. I can still barely remember the 1st image I saw of an armored fish as a kid and finding it fascinating. Making one out of a cetacean form is brilliant. Your model also somewhat reminds me of some of the starships from X3. One very large one was called the Orca, and was just gorgeous.
