Needs a face, but I like the idea, even if it was taken from some that have already been made.

I would want a giant one to have on my back to walk around with.

from what I can tell, my style is different from any of the others I have found.. instead of a "bag shape" with limbs and a head (like welovefine who have a tear drop bag shape with a side ways tiny zipper) Mine is actually a pony plushie that has been altered, enlarged, stretched for space, and given a pretty large zipper space pouch inside of it :)


It will have a face, I didn't 100% complete this one yet, she'll have eyes and a cutiemarks It's probably about 2feet long from hoof to hoof? if not longer than that. and it can be made bigger.

I got a WLF Vinyl, and it isn't much for space and the forelegs are flat like straps (comfortable too), but everything else is pony like. Most you could put in is a MP3 player with a little slot for a headphone cord. But I got it because it was Vinyl and didn't really care about anything else, but it's hard for me to wear since I'm a bigger guy, and the straps are pretty much stretched to the max for me to even put it on.

How much would something like this run?

Mine doesn't have the flat strap legs, they are "plushie" but with limited plush in them so they aren't bulkie or uncomfortable, i personally think they add to the comfort. I will see if my husband will let me take a picture of him wearing pinkie pie tomorrow XD

The pocket on mine is rather large, on purpose, as I Think like a girl (since I am one haha) I made the pocket large enough to not only fit, say, a Samsung Galaxy S II, but a Regular sized Wallet that's Full of CC money etc, a change purse, keys, pens etc..


I literally made the bag big enough for my 8in long, 4 1/2 inch wide, 2 1/2inch deep Wallet/purse/wristlet thingie that I keep in my Dr Whooves purse... but Silly me didn't think about the fact that it wouldn't then fit inside the actual plushie, as with stuffing and the size of her zipper she doesn't have "quite" enough room.. i'm 2 inches shy from actually squishing THAT inside of her ^_^

I took a small series of pictures JUST NOW that in the next 20 minutes I will post on tumblr of me taking my partially made Apple bloom back pack, and I stuffed a bunch of random things from my desk into it, including a Fat heavy desktop Scotch tape dispenser, keys, change purse, business card holder, and a fat sharpie marker inside of it and the pictures show it closed, then taking each item out of her. The zipper wasn't straining and I could have fit a few more pens, a pocket knife and my Phone in there as well if i tried. The Tape dispenser was used to represent a fat wallet :) and i couldn't take pictures of myphone being in with everything else because I Was using it to take the pictures HAHA but I had put the phone in with everything before hand just to make sure it would fit.


I have the straps at a pretty "standard" size.. I'm not a small girl (short but not skinny) i'm pretty chubby, and I made it so they would fit me With room.. basically once I add the "adjusters" on the straps, I would totally need to shorten them to make her fit snug. BUT I can easily make extra long straps for anyone that likes a loser fiting back pack or fears that they might be to tight etc :) that's no problem (i'd suggest measuring the straps on your current pony -including legs- and going from there.


My back pack ponies are much more expensive than WLF.. because they're hand made of course :) right now I Charge 150+... the + would be if you wanted say, fur mane and tail instead of fleece, an mp3 speaker hidden in the mane with an extra hiding spot hidden in the forelock/bangs for an ipod so you could play music in it (which is something i'm doing with apple bloom) If you would want the pony larger etc etc etc.

The back pack sits right now.. from tip of the Head to bottom hooves 22-24inches tall adding ears mane and tail makes it longer.. The front legs most likely do not go as far over the shoulder as WLF does (judging from myself wearing pinkie pie) but they are squishier, and more in proportion with the entire pony as my back pack is more like Wearing a Plushie with a zipper than a back pack that looks like a pony ^_^

Also it was suggested to me that I Could make more Pocket space (for those who want to pay extra and want this added on) if I add Saddle bags to the back of the pony!!.. an Idea I will totally try in the future but haven't had a chance to try now.

Lots of info. Alright. I was just curious, being jobless wouldn't get me anywhere but I got a date with another dude by the name of Latent Promise on dA, he makes some of the best plushies I've ever seen, and once I get the money, I'm gonna commission him to do a Vinyl as a mascot for my car. But I have lots to do before that is even gonna happen too. I do like the idea, and the one thing WLF could've did is made the "neck" stronger or the head lighter, 'cause all it does is flop around... hell, it would be better to cram shit in her head than her body. It's more of a novelty than a use anyway, plus I never used backpacks since I was in 2nd grade. Messenger bags ftw!
