Sculpey is kind of affordable... have you ever worked with it? It's a bit too squishy for my taste, but it should be good for a making shit party. ^.^

i just bought Sculpey to make my chara, because i wanted it to be a bit bigger and i didn't want to waste a lot of FIMO ... Sculpey is like heaven X.X... it's so soft X.X i love it XD ... but i only have a big chunk of skin colored one, so i can paint it with acrylics (doesn't really work... comes out all streaky... i'm prolly doing it wrong or my paints suck...) but yeah... FIMO's good for small things like charms and key chains... 56g of FIMO (size of a golf ball) is worth roughly $3.00 ... so yeah... i think Sculpey is cheaper (i got a huge chunk for 12 bux)

That sounds about the same as the special colored sculpey... but when you guy the white stuff in bulk it's pretty cheap. XD Painting is the way to go, actually... I was making these charms for my costume out of sculpey, and the red sculpey tainted everything when I tried to put it together. x.X It made my white sculpey pink, and my yellow sculpey orange... it was such a mess.

yeah, i heard Sculpey bleeds unlike FIMO ... but you're gonna have to show me how to color stuff... cuz i can't get the paint to stick to it... it's like painting plastic... it gets all streaky and textur-y when dries out <:\
