A colored attempt at the Lancia Beta used in Group 5 racing, interest in this car was partial to my interest/obcession with the 037 given that was the last RWD car to win a WRC championship, and also because the Beta was a base for both the rally car and this Group 5 racer.
I wanted to try and do more color wise but I feel I'll have to work on the other views of this car before I can really try to flesh out color paint schemes. Not to mention an attempt to put a nod to a loved/hated cartoon series of recent didn't go to my liking.
Maybe if I can get the Icaras Fury from Wipeout HD/Fury drawn right, I can get that right, we will see.
As for why the 'Martini' Logo? Well, Lancia and Martini seem to go together, or Martini in general for a number of racing cars, not unlike 'John Player Special' or Marboro, Bensen and Hedges and so forth.
Which I find ironic given I'm the last person expected to drink or smoke, but why I don't is a ramble for elsewhere.
