Just a doodle I made after watching the whole series of a TV series called Han Seong Byeol Gok-正(한성별곡-正, The Sad Song of Hanseong, aired as 'Conspiracy in the Court' in other countries).
I enjoyed this TV series immensly; but then, since the story was about a struggle for reformation in 18th century Joseon, I guess it was inevitable. Also, among Korean TV series that I have seen until now, it was the only one that properly showed how muzzle loading weapons were reloaded(though I think it is highly unlikely, if not impossible, for an 18th century Joseon dynasty person to accept egalitarianism to the point the king and his mentor showed, and the error of putting both arrows and bow into the bow holster and then wearing them on back, not waist, was glaring).

One of the movie scripts I've written was just so deeply researched. Set in 1704... i went through original correspondance, original maps, iaries, jourtnals.... read plays from the period to understand the way people talked at the time....
It was such a work of love and joy!

Still, Korean programming with subtitles is becoming popular in the US. Not a lot, but they have surpassed Japanese and Chinese Dramas in watchers. The Technical Direction is better. butmostly it's more active plots and much stronger characters.
As usual, I like your art on this sort of thing a lot.
