this was actually gonna be a sketch, but i end up spending a long time on it, so went ahead and made it a nicer pic...
i am still totally not good at doing this type of thing tho ^^;
well, originally just wanted to find a nice innocent position to practice the tummy lines, cuz tummy lines are very cute ^_^
but i also has alot of other first time tries here... the soft shading, making soft fabrics and wood objects, the general shading and lighting, the position of myself of course, and using the burn tool... (only used burn tool on things like the wood and the brass bedrails)
ya, i kno, it has already been a particular chu dat has been draw sleeping in a bed like twice now, but this was all i could think of, and it is just too cute to pass up >wO
well i think so anyways, u prolly has better ideas, heh...
CRITIQUE PLZ! good and bad, i needa kno what did worked and what did not worked ^^;
(redlines or edits always help if u prefer to demonstrates a fix, it is easier for me to understand)
what u think? =3
PS!!
think "miniature furniture", i am only about 1 foot tall, and all my furniture is small too so dat is why i look big on the bed ^^;
it does full view also, even tho it is not much bigger =/

Dang bro, you've come a long way just now, the bg is super awesome, as well as the perspective, it's kinda like a photo. The tummy lines make you look even cuter and realistic, I say your first try at using the burn tool is a charm! ^_^
I wanted to draw a sleeping joltchu just the same, but I figured it'd be too copycat. This is UNIQUELY your pose though and came out quite perfect in my opinion.
As for critiques, well the shading is there, but on you it is somewhat hard to see, so try making it a little darker.
I can't think of any other critique but otherwise it's a very very nice pic and indeed you've surprised yourself on many levels. I wouldn't be surprised if you got lots of feedback on this. Great job bro! ^_^

but the shadows, well, i dont like very heavy shading, it just dont go with the rest of my style, and dat would mean i would have to change my whole style, i dun wanna do dat after developing it so much this far ^^;
but i can try some darker shades next time, since this soft shading does not show up as good =3

As a critique I could say that from this view angle the head could continue a little more to the back or be lower, or it will look a bit flat. Usually flipping the picture a couple times during drawing helps to notice things like that. ^^

haha, well it was sorta make like my RL bed, and my pillow is flat in the middle where i lay my head X3
but ya, it should have been make different for this pic... i does flip the image some while i am drawing tho, i am just no good at notice this things like dat ^^;
