Behold the magnificence of Saint Dissever, most noble Minister of Justice on Tapestries muck. She stands, shining with purity and burning with the flame of Holy Righteousness in her heart, she stands for what is right!
A certain Eagle on Taps (Alarus) is very, very glad that Dissever is on "his" side. Woe unto those that cross swords with her.
A little something for the Dissever Beast, from Alarus.

Very nice guy! I love the way the feathers on the neck spill over the mail there. The wings are great, as well as the fact that they're broad and extend almost all the way to the tail. to many people draw them like angel wings(not that there's anything wrong with that). Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing more. :)
*hugs a griffy* Thank you for saying so, Expy. Those feathers were quite complex and there are many layers of color to them and most of the color had to applied to each feather, one-at-a-time. As a began this piece I was thinking, "What the Hell am I getting myself into?!"
Still I think that for the level of detail that I wanted, and to see if I "could" do it, there was no other way.
I'm rather pleased with how she turned out. There are flaws... but then I learn from each piece that I complete.

Kick ass work on this, wonderful job on the wings and tail feathers, those must have taken a long time to draw and color out, the armor looks equally impressive as well, it has a solid and heavy look to it.
Please keep it up, want to see more of what you come up with.

*hugs ya* Thanks so much for the comment, dear gator. She was a 'lot' of work, but with the input from friends here as well as the person that I drew it for, it was well worth the effort. I've got a few ideas about what I want to do next, though this weekend I've been doing taxes and haven't had the time to pick up a pencil. So, now that the tax woe is over, I can get back to work on art.
I appreciate your comments always.
