Less then two days left on the wolf auction!
Here are some detail shots of him. Showing off his torn ear and his scar. He's one tough mofo!
All info on him can be found at the auction. I am also offering to make him into a partial if he is bought out or if the bidding goes high enough. Check it out!

I hope I don't come across rude, but just wanted to point a few things out to you.
Most people don't go for pre-mades that were based off of something too specific. Something more generic like a naturally colored wolf, fox, otter, bird, etc. tend to go a bit better.
Just from my experiences at least. I used to sell OOAK sculptures, and the generic ones tend to go for more money, AND sell faster than the super spiffy unique ones! D:
The ones to buy the unique ones were often artists themselves, and generally reused the character and whatnot.
I am not completely positive to be honest, I got mixed answers when I ask people, but often times people would buy more generic "normal" characters because it was more versatile. They could get a wolf to give to somebody as a gift. It's a little more unusual to give somebody a green, purple, orange, and black striped weird crazy wolf creature thing as a gift instead (or at least by generic normal society standards)
Or they could get a gray, black, white, or brown wolf and keep it for themselves simply because they like wolves. And it'll look like just a plain wolf, instead of a specific character. Less "I have to explain that it simply came that way instead of me having a specific character for it" basically.
So, just thought I'd mention to you my findings, because it took me a while to actually realize what was going on.
PS. I do love this head! <: I wish I could get it but I am getting so swamped with stuff right now that I'd only be able to afford really small payments, ahaha.

I usually go for more generic characters to make into premades. In the past I've made white foxes, generic huskies and wolves and what-not. I agree, they tend to sell the fastest. This time around, after working on two commissions that we're the most exotic species or designs(though they were still awesome!) I wanted to try my hand at some new techniques and design choices. I wanted to try to do the torn ear and the scar specifically, just as practice.
I decided to put him up for sale because of my financial situation more then anything (since he started out as just practice really). In the future I'll probably make more generic suits when I need the money or more unique ones when I want practice more then anything else.
Thanks though! It took me a while to figure all this stuff too, I'm still figuring it out actually =P
