Well I finally have access to a scanner once again! And now I have finally been able to post the colored version of my 20" gauge shay concept.

They locomotive is freelance in design, but much inspiration was taken from Gilpin Tramway #1.

The way I looked at it, Gilpin #1 is 2ft gauge and the one I've drawn here is 20" gauge... it's only a 4 inch difference so why not! I added a few things here and there for creative liberty. Such as the diamond stack and the monstrous headlamp that would be more appropriate on a 3ft gauge or standard gauge locomotive.

I also added a "scale reference", featuring The Man With No Name, to give an idea of how big/small this little loco is. I think I could have done better drawing Clint. the coloring is way off. Other than that I'm pretty happy with the end result.
