I may have gone into this year's AC without much of a plan, but there was always one thing on the list: Show off Stormcall. Heather Bruton did an absolutely fantastic job with the paintwork, and all props to the propmaster for the design. Yes, I actually have learned a weapon routine that can use this... I'd just have to get the okay from security for a weapon demonstration. (Good luck with that one...)

I see it like this:
Con Security < Uncle Kage : Get permission from him is easier
said than done. (Example was, the way I was flaunting my body
as far as my partial, there was reason for that.)
Hotel Security > Uncle Kage : Of course for more serious matters
though. It was kind of silly about where I could only go
throughout the con. (Probably also the reason I wasn't able to
go in into the artist lounge area and stick around in the lobby.
Their excuse? "Unsanitary Reasons".)
So, when it comes to the weapon you have, yes, having con security
around with Uncle Kage's express permission, perfect. But as he
told me, with hotel security, there's not much that can be done, sadly,
depending on the situation.
Responsible people ALWAYS get screwed over..that's how I see it.
