And so the story ends. Kammy decided to play with teh babies but it wasnt long before Gem started to waver, it was pretty far past her bedtime now and the excitement of having two new playmates had worn her out. She was determined not to go to sleep without a bedtime story however and dragging her favourite book from the bookshelf she handed it to chris. Chris looked confused. He knew he should know the words but as he flicked through the book the pictures were very bright but none of teh words made any sense. He gave the book to kammy. She didnt really know the words either but she wasnt about to admit that to the cubs so she took the book and sat down, allowing Gem and Chris to snuggled down, she started making up a story to match the pictures and only two pages in Gem was out like a light. Chris picked up Gems discarded pacifier and stuck it in his mouth feeling content and tired. this wasnt how he expected his babysitting evening to finish but he was so tired now he couldnt concentrate on being worried. slowly he slipped off to sleep to the sound of kammys story.
