You select the area in which you want to crop with the marquee tool and then you go Canvas > Trim to Selection =)
if you for some reason want to reduce a specific amount go into Canvas > Canvas size. Negative numbers will reduce the canvas space, and positive will increase the canvas space. I never use reduce really but I use extend a lot! :3
