The third of four pay what you want commissions I took about a month ago to help me buy a new and awesome scanner! This one was for Raineyangel, and she gave me two characters and said I could draw one or both. I originally was going to do both, but I just couldn't resist making a super finished version of this one once I got going... it was just turning out so nice!
So anyway here is Rainey's character, leaping amid sunlight and sparkles, something we all do every once in a while probably. :P I wanted to focus on fur, light, and a neat pose, and thankfully it all came together quite... elegantly! The best part about artistic freedom stuff like this is that the little changes and accidents that happen along the way can be incorporated into the final image, and usually make the whole picture look better as a result. Happy accidents, maybe? Sounds like something Bob Ross might say. XD
