Aaah just two friends poolside, sat chillaxing on hot, sunny summers day, as they catch up n reminisce ....Simply wonderful, a great scene captured .

I have to agree with Black-Rose-Exterio for its certainly a gorgeous piece. Loving the poses, anatomy, markings, great expressions(so happy ^^), the amazing water effects...Not to mention the sweet shading, superb subtle scale skin texturing/texture work in general, lighting, and bright, amagingly vivid colours(very summer-y). Plus the easy-going, calm relaxed atmosphere oozing from the piece too... It just beautiful. So well drawn, highly & very finely detailed etc. All those aspects they come together to create said gorgeous piece, a piece so well realised & stylised yet still retains a sense of realism to it. The image has a lovely richness to it as well. Awesome arts as usual Lunalei :3.

I don't think he is giving his buddy some shade or helping to redirect the wind to help him cool off... Well he would cool off a different way.
but i do adore the texturing you have on their bodies. Like a light grainy/matte finish for scales. As opposed to a bunch of half circles and ovals.

Thanks. Unless it's specified that a character is scaly I tend to give them this..leathery finish.
