From an archaeological dig in Tanzania dating 80 Million years, from the Cretaceous....something that shouldn't be there. Now the only evidence is a drawing (done from memory by someone that witnessed what was unearthed). Because NOW all photos and evidence have been mysteriously "disappeared" as well as the skull and other items.
Found: A skull that should not be in this time period (or any period), a strange glowing, wavering "jewel" and some type of alien device, decayed with the eons and who's purpose is unknown.

Reminds me of one of the treasures you can find in Pikmin 2.
So, aliens eaten by dinosaurs huh? Better than aliens creating dinosaurs, then nuking the planet in order to make way for humans but for some reason leaving a few alive so humanity can make pictures of them in early civilization.

I was imagining before I read your description that the skull was an alien that just landed from outer space!! And it made that perfect impression on the ground, and these little Mr. Skullheads would be pouring out. I thought the rock with the triangle on it was their landing zone. Oh I so love how your piccies always just bring out me imagination and tell a story!!!
Reminds me of an old dr. who story. A human skull is discovered, and dated to be, impossibly, over 12 million years old. When x-rayed, a pentagram pattern can be seen in the bone. Naturally it's part of an alien monster. "Image of the Fendahl"
