Long time watchers of mine art probably very familiar with Sheila. She's one of NewEnglander's characters that I've been drawing forrrrrr.... I dunno. Probably close to a decade. For new watchers of people who are not familiar with her, she's a woman cursed with lycanthropy and literally becomes a bear every morning until she's had her morning coffee.

While she's normally a grizzly bear, NewEnglander came up with the idea that her bear form would actually take the appearance of bears native to the part of the world she is in at the time (She'd become a polar bear while in Alaska/Northern Canada, a Sloth Bear while in India, a Koala when in Australia. Okay, so a Koala isn't actually a bear... but the idea would be too funny to pass up.)

I'm under the impression that her lycanthropy has somehow become sentient and is having a blast trolling her.

NewEnglander mentioned doing a comic about this one day. I sure hope so because I think the concept is hilarious.


Anyways.... this is the last of the actual pages of the calender. Now I'm going to put it together and then make the cover image and hopefully it will be available for purchase within a week or so...

* I don't necessarily go with monthly 'themes' (snow in the winter, apples in September, etc). The pictures are based on suggestions from the client who purchased the calender slot for that month or whatever I feel like doing that day.
* Yes, this will be a real printed calender.

* The calender will be available for purchase on my website when it is completed.
* The female is full up for the year! However, after I'm done with it, I'm going to open up slots for a male pinup calender!
