Livestream commission. This cat couple, a male Persian and a female Thai, is part of a little fan project I have that is mostly in my head right now. You know how some people like to put fictional characters in a high school setting? Well, my idea involves putting animal children from Disney animated films in a modern elementary school setting as anthros. The reason for this is because I want to preserve their child like mentality and I don't want any teen angst. Less "Dawson's Creek", more "Recess".
Anyway, the pet characters (dogs, cats, etc.) in suburbia would go to Frank Thomas Elementary School (where the story mainly takes place) while the wild characters (foxes, rabbits, etc.) in the forest would go to Ollie Johnson Elementary School. Frank and Ollie would have a strong rivalry that is rather unusual for elementary schools.
So where do these two come in? Well, this couple was kind enough to adopt Oliver from "Oliver and Company", who is kind of the main character of this project. Here, they are waving goodbye to Oliver as he goes to school.
EDIT: I have names for them now. The mother is Mali and father is Joe, a tribute to Joe Ranft. Their last names are the Brownlows, a reference for anyone familiar to Oliver Twist.

What about the non-anthro animal kid characters of the Mickey and Friends canon shorts and shows, like Pluto jr. (Pluto's son), Mr. Pettibone (Goofy's pet kitten), and KB (Pluto's kid brother) for pet characters and Salty the Seal and Bent-Tail jr. (Bent-Tail the coyote's son) for wild animal ones? Are you going to include them in the project or would the style that they are drawn in clash with the style of characters like Oliver, Scamp, and Marie? By the way, although he is a minor character in Pinocchio, Figaro is also part of the Mickey and Friends canon ad even starred in a few shorts of his own.
