Here's something... different. Full view to see it animated. :)
Some time after I built my vulture costume in 2004, I got ahold of some strobing blue LED lights, and put one on the end of each feather tip (8 in total).
This is a sequence of photos taken by a friend at a firespinner campout/event in Santa Cruz in 2006. I finally got ahold of the photos, shrunk them down, and animated them to simulate the effect that the lights+wings have in the dark. :) We're about a hundred yards out on the beach, with the main bonfire/drum circle visible in the distance. I find it eerie that you can't really see me or the wings, just the lights.
It's really impossible to understand what this actually looks like in person unless you've seen it, but the best we came up with was "a swarm of electric blue bees." It's like raver lightshow x100. Works for me.

Awsomeness! another Poi-er! I've been doing it for near on Four years, mostly inspired by My Nick Woosley and Yuta :D http://www.playpoi.com After four years of training, I can do most combo's nick can :D My fav's flowers! best effect ever! There are some great glow stick poi from Glowsticking.com (they call it 'sticking' but its still poi to me lol) Hope to see your skillz one day :)

i miss those times at our drum circles. we had a fairly large group until the spring breakers, that were under the influence, came and ruined things. the police holds us responsible for the disturbance even though they weren't apart of our group. they just kinda invited theirselves.
