growing up sucks.
i miss being a little kid; carefree and imaginative.
the world was beautiful in my eyes.
i didn't care what people thought of me, all i knew is i had to get out there; feel.
now i care. and i hate myself for it. i shouldn't.
i thought growing up would be great.
now as i'm older, i honestly hate myself for not doing so.
people scare me, i don't like my appearance, my future scares me, and these goddamn feelings of mine.
i wish i couldn't feel.
i really wish i was a kid again.

I think this is the case with a lot of the 90's kids... We were all just 10 years old (or less) when 9/11 happened, so we had a lot of our security as children stolen away. We have been indoctrinated with fear since we were little, and so we missed a lot of what it meant to be a kid.
