This character is part of a trio I devised for a short story that's in the process of being reviewed for an anthology. At last year's MFF, I commissioned two others in the group, Lance Harcourt, and Alexis Carmichael. Here is the group's de-facto leader, John J. Striker. Like the others, he's a college student and mystic who happens to face supernatural entities on the streets of Chicago. His specialties are alchemy and sharp-shooting, fitting a perfect role as a "spell-slinger" with his aether pistols. Though he's a bit more impulsive and naive than his two friends, he nonetheless provides keen knowledge of the supernatural and a willingness to do whatever it takes to keep civilians safe from dangerous creatures of other realms.

I commissioned Max Blackrabbit to take on this character, and he made an excellent rendition of the young skunk mage.
