So I was supposed to write an exam for Vector Calculus on July 11, 2013 here in the university. The exam was scheduled to start at 11:30 sharp. And 30 seconds before the instructor gave us the OK to start, the alarm bell went off. Everyone was laughing, the instructor couldn't believe it so he walked out to check. He came back and told us to leave everything and go outside. 3 firetrucks and several firemen showed up. After about 25 min, they left. It was a false alarm.
We went back inside and the instructor told us that we are going to write exam regardless of the lost time. The exam was scheduled between 11:30 and 12:50. We started at 12:00, noon. He told us that out of the 7 questions the last one was the longest and the hardest, double integration. But given the lack of time, he said to get full marks on it all we had to do it set up the integral, nothing else! A couple of people left at 1pm to go to other classes, the rest of us stayed until 1:10 pm and that was that.
I am truly baffled by this event. The timing is just too good for it to be an accident... but then again, I have no leads.
