Here's another case of old versus new. In 1998, my best friend's sister asked me to draw her as a mobian cat, only with more 'realistic' features...yea didn't work out so well. I hated it, she hated it, we all hated it. What's more, she had an unoriginal name, "Catty Carslie" which was terribly close to that singing cat from the AoStH episode "Sonic's Song"

Well, I came across it again and realized that I could DEFINITELY redesign it. I took some visual cues, and made her into this 'gunslinger' style cat (now more SEGA Sonic style inspired by Blaze the Cat and Nack the Weasel), except she slings 'jinxes'. While Larry the Lynx has to pray that a jinx works, this character, who I call "Katriana the Jinxer" can point at someone and jinx them...because she's a black cat...? Anyway, what do you guys think of the redesign? (BTW  Dolphinsong 's sister is not a part of the fandom, I think this was a minor phase she went through when I was drawing at the time. So I would consider this an orphaned character that I'm adopting as my own, especially with the redesign).
