Their character Dee was recently the victim of an attack (Well, recently in terms of this image. In terms of real life, it's been a few months and I'm sorry it's so late don't be mad at me!) that left her sans a body. Right now she's holding a press conference to reassure everyone that everything is alright, which is something she has to do because she's a figure of some importance.
I made the canine carrying her up because I'm not familiar with any of her actual friends, so just assume it's someone she knows well enough to trust them to carry her jar to the podium.

To a certain extent, yes; the image at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10647048/ comes before this one.
Nothing that coherent; just something along the lines that being carried in a technologically advanced bucket would appear somewhat less threatening to journalists (and the public) than stomping onto stage into a custom Tachikoma-like war-bot.
(And on another note, I think I've just figured out what her next Halloween costume is going go be. :) )

If she goes for a different concept each year - then Dr. Haynus from http://www.evil-comic.com/about_haynus.html would probably be one of the earlier ones. Ooh, who's a cute liddle puppy-shaped life-support unit?
But then who'd she get to play the evil stomach-in-a-jar?
She just might manage to pull off one of those brain-spider droids from Jabba's palace - if nothing else, simply because nobody else /could/ fit into such a costume. (Sure, the setting has full-sensory remote-controlled robots of arbitrary shapes, but it's just not the same... <ahem>)

I was trying more for silliness than actually objecting. I couldn't think of a good joke involving just how many fictional iterations there've been of a certain notorious dictator's brain, so if she were feeling lazy she could make a politically-incorrect costume out of a toothbrush and some shoe polish; so I went for that, instead.
