Thinking and knowing are two very different things, my friend. If you think you deserve better, then most likely you don't deserve shit because you didn't earn it. If you KNOW you deserve better then you know you worked for it, you know you earned it and you know that is your rightful place.

Wrong use of the word deserve. I work my butt off of things and still don't get them. I always do too much and don't get what I should in return.

You're right, life isn't fair. You need to plot and scheme, utilize your fellow people to get what you want. You can do all that and still be charismatic and work for your goals.
You're still in your early 20s, you can set your mind to something fantastic. My only advice is to ditch any thoughts of popularity in the furry fandom and focus on real world problems/goals.
