I wanted to make some really nice portraits for each of my Darastrix characters – its been a long time since I've worked on the comic and my drawing has improved a lot since then. I wanted to show some of that improvement off ^^

Rose is going out to meet some people at the park, but not before taking some vodka from her parents.

I spent ages on the lighting on this one – I wanted it to look like she was being illuminated only by street lights and made the shadows orange to match the lights. But whenever I did this it just made it look like sunset instead. In the end I settled for blue shadows, which does make the scene look very interesting but I'm unsure if it indicates street lights strongly enough.
