In 2004, I took my very first college drawing art course.

Since that point, I had done my own thing involving my artwork finding ways around the basic projects to develop my own ideas and projects. I liked my bubble and I always found ways out of being pushed out of it.

This professor whom everyone called Greg, called me out. I told him I didn't like drawing large, and I hated charcoal. So what was the semester project he assigned me outside of class?

FIVE LARGE CHARCOAL DRAWINGS of what ever series I wanted to try and accomplish. Not ONE, but FIVE.

And I did it. This is the middle drawing of the five, I decided to do weird cityscapes and good and evil monsters within them. This was the only drawing to have both sides within it.
