Rig carried Reign as far a she could. The fatigue and pain from their capture in Kanen's manor taking their toll. Reign blacking out from the pain of her beatings and Rig utterly exhausted from fighting to free her and himself. He had run for several miles before his legs gave out in a grassy grove. He lay there panting heavily looking at Reign as she lay unconcious next to him. They were safe, for now.
