It was a desperate attempt. A last-shot effort to right a terrible wrong that had befallen those closest to them. Nothing short of hopelessness in their own abilities and resources would have moved the four Digimon and the Sprite to enter this place where they knew none of their kind had tread before, on a mission that could go either way. But if anyone could help them at this point, with this particular problem, it would have to be him. Damamon and Chaimon had seen him giving a speech on television, Commandramon had seen him on magazine covers as he filtered his way towards the nudie subscriptions, the Catholic parents of Cantmon's Tamer had a framed photograph of him on the wall of their living room, and Essence had acquired a good deal of information on him and his enormous abode while convalescing in the Hub. Again, if anyone could help, it would have to be him. Thus, this group of otherworldly friends had braved entering the Vatican by stealth, and now secretly prowled its many ornate corridors, desperately seeking an audience with His Holiness.

This here is a bit of an experiment that the wonderful  Kamechuu was willing to undertake, making her the first artist to draw Digimon characters within the Vatican. Needless to say, attempting to recreate such ornate architecture was an ambitious task, and I'm terribly grateful to her for trying. I believe that the picture is, in all, a triumph!
