My first picture from Anthrocon 2013 is from....a baseball game?
After I dumped all my SD cards to my main PC and started looking through them I FREAKED at how good this photo looked, and my Sony DSC-HX9V Cybershot took this using the default "intelligent auto" settings... almost painting like. Not bad for a $300 list camera I picked up for around $210 at a Best Buy clearance sale. (btw Compare this pic to one I took with a Canon Powershot SX100 in 2009: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2506014/ )
Before the con started I attended a Pirates-Phillies game at PNC ballpark in Pittsburgh. PNC is a beautiful ballpark with the skyline of downtown Pittsburgh in the background. As much as I love the Texas Rangers, their enclosed Ballpark in Arlington can't match this view.
And a ballpark full of Pirates and Phillies fans trying to outshout each other with a tight game made for a really fun night. The Pirates beat the Phils 6-5.
