Prismacolors in fact. I hope all you marker artists out there enjoy the info ^u^ By the way, they cost 3.79 per marker as opposed to about 6.00 for copics.

i dont understand the expense of these markers ^^;
why costing so much? how is different from Crayola?

but on the picture, it looks very nice!
of course, even with prisma colors, it would still be nothing without The Grey's line-work >wO

Heehee, thank you Puzzy ^U^ The deal with the markers is 2 things- 1 They come in colors that you simply cannot find with less expensive markers, and 2 Their ink is serious, permanent stuff- It's meant to last without fading for a reeeeally long time.

Hmm, wait a minute- I think you're referring to things like how much ink it has before it runs out, and how much ink it puts on the paper. What I mean is that when the ink gets on the paper it keeps it's color the same and doesn't get faded for a long time.

u said it was very serious ink, like expensive? Styx says the refills dont cost much for copics...

but i kno what u mean on the color... after u draw, it looks the same after a few months as it did when the ink first hit the paper? =3

Hmm, I never knew you could get refills, good to learn ^.^ And yes, permanent stays the same color longer, water markers start to fade in color after some odd amount of time.

interesting... is just cuz of exposure to air? cuz my marker drawing with crayola is years old and still look pretty vivid... <_<?

I think there are lots of possible effects, air would be one of the slower ones- I believe Sunlight and hand oils are the biggest threats, oh and humidity. I'll need to read more about it ^.^;

Then that was their word, and nothing more- Have you been hearing the journals from other artists on DA? I've read from at least 5 artists with accounts there now, all saying the place has a lot of haters who just love to talk poorly of artists for their own amusement. Don't listen to them, it's unhealthy.

Then they can think of better things to say than "it looks bad". They can always say "I think this would look good on it" or something of the sort.

Yeah, some classical causes me to draw mostly sad looking characters, and that was one of them. Also, I actually didn't decide whether that was a boy or a girl either ^o^
