Yeah, I try not to use anything other than metal or hard foam; those flimsy plastic pads get crumpled up way too easily, especially on the nine and ten-foot songs. I can ace those on a good day, but it's damn near impossible to do so on anything less than a hard pad.
Then again, I find myself nowadays getting into Guitar Hero a bit more often, but hey. ^..^;

I've played ITG 2 in the arcade, and I find it to be interesting to say the least....they got their own 'hard songs' (Energizer, Vertex, Vertex2, and Pandemonium to name a few) also some remixed versions of some classical and opera based songs (Habanera, Hardcore Symphony, William Tell {shortened to Tell}) you should make a point to at least try it out, Guan, it's well worth it in my opinion.
