Ah, the Dromers... obsessed with seeing just how far they can go meshing their own bodies with machinery and gadgetry without dying. How's that for a hobby? Okay, well with the Dromers its more a life goal... but still.

Why are the called Dromers? Well they live in Dromes. What's a Drome?

Hmm... Well consider if you will a mountain. Or a plateau. Or even a huge sheer cliff face. Now start heaping industrial looking technology on it and hollowing the natural resources out of it to further fuel the process of covering it with all kinds of technology and manufacturing facilities. Now fill it full of a bunch of long eared, rather androgynous looking cyborg wannabes willing to perform amateur invasive surgery on themselves for the sake of giving themselves mechanical organs and voila! You have a Drome.
