OLD ART Me and My Pokemon 2005
WOW!
DEFINITELY the first thoughts that came across my mind!
2005 was my graduating year in high school. I myself was filled with a great sadness, after the loss of my 14-year old cousin, facing some big new changes (college) in the autumn, and finding new responsibilities I had to grow into. Despite those things, I felt I had to push the depression in my life behind me. I had to move forward, I had to be strong... I had to keep on smiling for the cousin I'd lost, because I knew she wouldn't be able to smile any more, except from Heaven above...
2005, I was determined to hone my skills further, and dare to try new things. I wanted to end my high school year with a bang, and a bang it certainly was!
This drawing was perhaps my most accomplished piece of the "Me and My Pokemon" drawings I'd done in years past. I practiced shading, and keeping a sharp(er) pencil on hand to make sure lines were clean, and edges rounded. =)

Synthia the Meowth, Mayu ("Mew") the Mew, Carmen the Charmeleon, Penny the Pikachu, myself, and Ellissa ("Ellis") the Eevee.
