Drawn for my boyfriend, a big ol honkin' shoulder tattoo. The skull is going to be gold with jewels and what not, and the flowers are deadly nightshade.
So it's this like, sort of thing Indiana Jones might swap out a bag a sand for, and it's all nestled in poooisonous flowers and spooky spiderwebs.
Are you brave and foolhardy enough to quest for the golden skull? OooOOOooo

We watch a lot of Johnny Quest and the like, it shows.
This idea started when he brought home a to-go cup of Alterra coffee with a sugar skull on it http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l.....ht9lo1_500.png and said "I want this for a tattoo!"
I told him he was not getting a sugar skull off a coffee cup permanently on his body, that coffee cup sat on our bookshelf, proudly displayed for like six months. Finally we got to talking about the design and he realized that there was way more potential to be worked with here, and this was born.

PS I just started a tattoo apprenticeship. This is my boyfriend's second tattoo that I've drawn.
