Every YouTube video I've seen has at least one or more questions of people asking, "how do I make a fursuit?" or "Can you make a fursuit for me?"
The answer to the second question: NO. Shut up.
I can however, answer the first question:
See the picture? Yes, good ol' sticky tape as they say in the UK. And lots of it. In just a mere day, I will be covered in this and ruin worthless clothing that I've been meaning to throw away for a while, but now I can make useful.
Yes, duct tape becomes a fursuit!
I have an idea what you're thinking. "Why the hell did you post this?" To get n00bz to be quiet. Because this is just the beginning. Now, with a cold, it will be hard as heck to blow my nose when wrapped up in this stuff. Oh well.
I am not getting paid to advertise this.
Lookie, a pyramid! :p
Well, the thing is, MixedCandy orders require for anyone creating a full bodysuit to have a decently-done duct tape dummy, or as known as a DTD. When stuffed, it will give the custom maker a really good idea of your body's dimensions and shape, thus, the resulting costume should fit pretty nicely... or so is said. I've heard a lot of good things about the MixedCandy company, so, this is where it begins.
Hopefully by mid 2009, this pyramid of stickiness will result in my first ever lion fursuit.
Rejoice!

If anyone responds with "how do I make a fursuit," even in jest, I will throw a bag of marshmallows at you.

well.... Take sowing classes "iconshy_foxxie: lol xD and go to stores that sell fur mattieral xD and the nose and eyes are made by hand or bought from a store. X_X its not really that hard you just need alot of time. you also need coat hangers or foam. >.> i seriously know what i need i just need the money to buy all the stuff for it. x_x i am kinda having toruble with making my office for the making.
I've seen the amount of passion that it takes to build a fursuit. Alkora, whom I find a tremendous worker, has shown me the talent of his sewing prowess. I am just boggled by how easy he makes it look. I'd be too afraid to even attempt the things that he does.
Hopefully I'll be joining the rest of the MN Furs in the future, as well as other fursuiters when I finally get to experience the awesomeness.
