Fast sketches of another Changeling OC.

More OC shit. Decided on the changeling that gave Rito his nickname (and gave a lot of Changeling’s their nicknames). His name is Chuck, aka Chucky aka Chuckles Youngman. He’s a Minstrel Fairest, the Minstrels being performers of music and instruments to performance art to hey- comedy!

Chuckles was a car salesman’s son on Earth and was to take over his dad’s business before he was taken. Unlike Rito who had nothing to do with what his role would be in Arcadia, Chuck had an amazing sense of humour and got along extremely well with people (which made his father pretty excited to pass his business down to him.)

In Arcadia he was part of a collection of people taken specifically to be comedic entertainment for a Fae obsessed with humour and laughter. Chuck is pretty much modeled after chattering teeth (the kind you wind up). His teeth are constantly clicking and chattering and will chitter faster when you turn the crank at the side of his mouth. (The crank looks like a stumpy cigar too, always smoking.)

He’s not a bad guy, he literally cannot stop himself from cracking jokes, even if he wants to be serious, he can’t force himself to be. He always is smiling, always chattering his teeth, always making jokes even if he desperately doesn’t want to, he can’t help it anymore since getting out of Arcadia.

This tends to make him a lot of enemies… only a few people figured out that it’s a permanent change to his personality, like his mouth and crank is a permanent change to his appearance.
