I like the crazy eye version better! I'm totally jelly of all the Contact labels you get to make, I've wanted to make one for them for ages (love that fuckin' soap) but I just can't seem to get my foot in the door.

Haha, me too, but Maly said customers tend not to like blank eyes on things and the little shading details in the crazy eye probably wouldn't print anyway (so it'd just look white.) So, I understand wanting it with a pupil! Thank you!

I totally asked to make the last three I did. :E That's how I got to make them!! The first one I did was a contest. With Chai, they put up a journal saying what they needed and I was like I NEED TO MAKE CHAI!!! hahahha. xD With Maple, I kept requesting they make a maple soap so when they finally got the scent in and mentioned it on twitter I was like OH PLZ... and with this one when Maly asked on twitter if anyone could do a label yesterday (in a day) I wasn't doing anything else and it sounded fun so I responded as soon as I could! 8) Just kind of have to jump on it, I guess?

Haha, well you're kinda fortunate, I've tried submitting a few things before and contacting Maly privately, it just didn't work out. I used to follow her on Twitter but it's kinda pointless since my account is locked, she didn't follow me back so I couldn't really contact her on there to jump on opportunities to do labels. I don't have Twitter go to a phone anyway (I check it on my PC), so usually by the time I see a post about needing a design the opportunity is long gone.

Doh, this is partially why I have two twitter accounts. >.< One public and one private. Next time she is looking for something, I'll suggest you if I see it fast enough!! :D She usually needs them really fast lately though (like the day she mentions she needs it) as a warning! I've just been kind of lucky with my last two.

Gaaaah I know, I've been thinking for a long time that I really need to make a public account (or make my current account public and make a private account for all my emo/serious bullshit/stoned talk lol). How easy is it to juggle two accounts, though? Is there a client you'd recommend for it? Right now I use an old version of TweetDeck on my computer, I think it has a way to add multiple accounts but I've never messed with it...

Anyway, thanks for offering to recommend me! It's a little overwhelming to hear she usually needs labels same day, now. Is that on purpose or just poor planning? XD I like having time to plan out my projects and if I finally get to make a label for Contact I don't want it to be a rush job, I want it to be some of my best!

Since I have a mac I use the official twitter app on it with no problems (I juggle 5 accounts with ease, lol) I don't know if there is a PC equivalent... Before I used this though I used to use Seesmic on my PC and mac and it worked fine. I think twwetdeck is similar to that?

Well the one I just drew above was because of an accidental mix that smelled too good not to make or something?! haha. I don't know why it's so fast, maybe those are just the ones I have gotten on myself recently. :P I think I had a week or so for the maple though? and longer for Chai if I remember correctly, but not any longer than 2 weeks I don't think. They usually have a pretty good idea of what they want, so I don't have to do tons of mock-ups or anything. Also the print isn't HUGE so you don't have to spend too much time worrying about that. (I have issues working on huge canvases, not sure if that is the case for everyone.)
